HAPPY 2018 HUMANS! Boy its been ages since we had a NeoMail leave
the office here at MelMel Universal Hyper Corp (Aka my laptop).
Anyway, hope you all had a good 2017, and are ready and excited
for the new year.. I'm sure not, last year was horrifying..
ANYWAY, the topic for this email is Promoting Neocities. It stands
to reason that all our amazing sites could use more attention, and
neocities could use a few new sites and users to shake up the mix
as it were. So it would benefit us all if we promoted neocities as
a service more.
My best ideas are to email a few youtubers who might give it some
coverage, but there's gotta be better stuff than that! What do you

I think sending links to YouTubers is a bad idea, as it could seem to be pushy and desperate to get hits on one's own website, in the same vein as spam mail. Personally, I think that the best way to get more people to join Neocities would be to put something like a banner at the bottom of your website that leads to Neocities.
Another way the host could get more users is if we go on Twitter and post something like "Hey, check out this site called Neocities" - or at least that's what I think.
