Title: Below Game: Doom 2
Filename: BELOW.ZIP Size: 63k
Author: Neil McKellar e-mail: [email protected]
Maps: MAP01 Type: normal level
Sounds: no
Graphics: no
Music: no
[ Level construction ] ----------------------------------------------
A medium sized level with a lot of stairs. Overall kinda dark. The
main idea is the use of stairs and some silver columns. Light
effects are limited to flickering torches, all in all nothing
amazing. Well placed keys - all keys were used. If you can't find
the red door, get back to the beginning.
[ Texture design ] --------------------------------------------------
Well aligned, I noticed that some wall-lamps at doors are looking
a bit strange, but the author tried to align them. No big mistakes.
[ Bugs ] ------------------------------------------------------------
No HOMs, Medusa effects or Tutti-Frutties.
[ Enemies ] ---------------------------------------------------------
A lot of Shotgun Guys, a few Imps and Heavy Weapon Dudes. Nothing
really challenging, only 3 Barons at the end. Not very hard.
[ Things ] ----------------------------------------------------------
Enough ammo and health, could be some more other things.
[ Scoring ] ---------------------------------------------------------
65%
Worth downloading. A bit too dark I think and too easy.
