Over on at the Doom Wiki, there has been an article written about Outpost 21, that also has a walkthrough for it, if you get lost.

Title: Outpost 21 Game: Doom 2
Filename: OPOST21.ZIP Size: 80k
Author: Scott Amspoker e-mail: [email protected]
Maps: MAP01 Type: normal level
Sounds: no
Graphics: sky
Music: no
[ Level construction ] ----------------------------------------------
Medium sized level, originally designed for Doom, now converted
and extended for use with Doom 2. Nice construction with a lot of
computer rooms, hallways, links and a cavern. Very well placed keys,
almost logically done. Good light usage, but nothing special.
[ Texture design ] --------------------------------------------------
A lot of misaligned textures, especially the part with the brown
walls and green switches. A few strange combinations too. Floors and
ceilings are often misplaced. For being the conversion of a Doom
level, this could have been done much better.
[ Bugs ] ------------------------------------------------------------
No HOMs, Medusa effects or Tutti-Frutties.
[ Enemies ] ---------------------------------------------------------
Not very hard, only a few Doom 2 enemies, usually Doom opponents.
But the end is a bit harder, because there are most of the Doom 2
enemies. All in all too easy.
[ Things ] ----------------------------------------------------------
A lot of ammo and enough health. Too few other things placed,
except the cavern which is full of torches.
[ Scoring ] ---------------------------------------------------------
72%
Worth downloading. Surely this one was a very famous level for
Doom, but the conversion is not very well done - why not fix all
those misaligned textures?
